The culturally rich and cash crop producing state of Bauchi in the North Eastern zone of Nigeria, home of the first Prime Minister, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa is the birth place of one of the most intriguing artists we have had the pleasure of; Aaron Kudii, officially known at Abbey Art Collective henceforth as Kudii Kudii.
 

The vision for AAC is broad, and Kudii is a perfect fit. 3 years a sculptor and 2 years a painter Kudii’s journey is just beginning and already his ability to combine elements, sounds, textures and create pieces that transport you beyond the limits of canvass and paint, pieces that awaken and align different senses is unique.
A psychology degree and influences from Sonai Boyce to Cy Twombly power this phenomenal talent to tell stories via his art that are bold, bright and captivating. We are honoured to work with Kudii.
